Where is the hotel location?
The hotel is located on the 1st peninsula of Halkidiki, namely Kassandra in the village of Hanioti.
How far is the hotel located from the airport?
Our hotel is located 93 km from Macedonia International Airport (SKG) which is approximately a 1 hour and 10 minutes drive.
How far away is the hotel from Hanioti village?
The hotel is located within a 10 minutes walk from the village Hanioti or a few minutes drive.
How far is the nearest beach?
The nearest beach to the hotel is the public beach of Hanioti. It is located within a 13-minute walk or a few minutes drive.

Is there an elevator at the hotel?
No, there is no elevator.
Is the hotel accessible?
We do not offer accessible rooms yet - and there are stairs throughout the entire hotel.
Is smoking in the rooms allowed?
Please be informed that all our rooms are non-smoking. Please respect this policy to help us maintain a fresh and pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. Non-compliance with this policy will result in additional cleaning fees.
Is smoking in public areas allowed?
Yes, smoking in public areas is allowed.
Is there a safety deposit required?
No, a safety deposit is not required.
Damage and theft of hotel property
You are liable for any damage caused (whether by the deliberant, negligence, or reckless act to the room (s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay.

Ampelia Hotel Kassandra has the right to charge the credit / debit card / cash in such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by the hotel as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to contact you hereby authorize us to charge your payment for any damage incurred to your room or the Hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.

Do you accept pets?
We accept dogs up to 10 kg. We do offer a welcoming kit upon arrival which consists of a dog bed and also some snacks. Keeping the rooms clean though requires more time and effort from our side and thus we charge 15 EUR per pet per night. Please keep in mind the following rules: - If you have other pets and are interested in staying in our hotel please email us and we will review your request. - Maximum 2 dogs per room are allowed. - Dogs must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guests. - Dogs must comply with local legislation requirements. - Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. - Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners, and its operator from all liability and damage suffered due to the guest's pet. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest's account commensurate with the cost of such damages.
What cleaning policy Ampelia Hotel Kassandra has?
During your stay, we change linens and towels every third day. Additionally, we do light cleaning and gather the rubbish daily. If you would like clean towels sooner, please leave them on the bathroom floor. If you do not need cleaning, please use the door holder "Do not disturb".
If I put the holder "Do not disturb"on the door in the morning, may I still have service cleaning during the day?
Yes, in this case you may ask reception for cleaning your room till 16 o'clock.
I forgot my belongings in hotel. What should I do?
You need to call / send message to reception with the room number you had and describe the item you left. Personal belongings left in a hotel room after checking out will be sent back to the address indicated by the guest. In the event the guest does not grant consent to do so, the hotel will store these items for a period of 3 months.
My car was damaged or lost at hotel parking
The hotel is not responsible for any damage or loss of a car or other vehicle belonging to the guest

Do you offer a gym?
No, we don’t.
Do you offer a pool?
Yes, we have 2 pools within the hotel’s premises. The 1st one is 18 meters and its depth is from 1.4 meters up to 2.0 meters The 2nd pool is for children and its depth is 0.8 meters.
Do you have a restaurant and a bar within the hotel?

Yes we do have a pool bar that offers daily breakfast starting from 12.00 and onwards it offers all-day snacks and beverages.

You may rent the pool towels at the reception with €2 per towel.

How many rooms do you have?
We are a small family-owned hotel with 25 rooms.
How many room types do you have?
We offer 3 room type categories:

1) Comfort rooms (33 square meters) located on the ground floor with loggia, 1st floor, and 2nd floor with a panoramic view of the area

2) Executive rooms (40 square meters) located on the ground floor with loggia

3) Two-Bedroom Apartment (65 square meters) located on the 2nd floor with a panoramic view of the area

What is the bedding configuration in the rooms?

1) Comfort rooms offer 2 single beds - that can reconfigured to a king bed setup by adding a comfortable mattress topper (5 centimeters thick)

2) Executive rooms 2 single beds - that can reconfigured to a king bed setup by adding a comfortable mattress topper (5 centimeters thick) and there is one more single bed

3) Two-Bedroom Apartment - offer 2 single beds in each of the bedrooms - that can be reconfigured to a king bed setup by adding a comfortable mattress topper (5 centimeters thick). Moreover, there is a sofa in the living room that can be set up for a 5th person.

Is king bedding guaranteed?
We have lots of mattress toppers available, however, since all our 25 rooms feature 2 single beds we can offer a king bedding setup only upon availability.
Do you offer extra beds?
Yes we do offer extra beds. The maximum number of extra beds (on top of existing beds in each room) is 1 for both Comfort rooms and for Executive rooms.
Can I control the temperature in my room?
All our rooms feature air conditioning. Please note that a/c can work only when the guests are in the room and the windows are closed.
Does my room have a kitchenette?
All our rooms feature an equipped kitchenette.
Is an iron and an ironing board kept in the rooms?
We can provide you with an iron and an ironing board at the reception.
Does my room have a safe deposit box?
Your safety is our business. For your security and convenience, we strongly recommend that all valuables be kept in your safe for the duration of your stay. The management shall not be held liable for any loss within the hotel.

SERVICES

Do you have wifi?
We offer high-speed satellite internet through Starlink.
Do you offer a transfer from and to the airport?
We can help you pre-book a taxi from and to the airport. The price is set at 140 EUR for a single-way transfer.
Can I rent e-bikes?
Yes, we offer e-bikes for rental. This is priced at 20 EUR per day - and if you would like to rent 2 e-bikes this is priced at 30 EUR per day.
Do you offer breakfast?
We do offer daily breakfast served between 08.30 and 10.30 at the pool bar.
How much does breakfast cost?
Breakfast is priced at 10 EUR per person (only children starting from 5 years old are being charged).

Pre-book your room inclusive of breakfast to get a better deal (based on current and applicable offers).

Do you offer parking?

· We do offer parking within the hotel’s premises. Parking is FREE for guests who are reserving a room directly with the hotel. For non-direct reservations, there is an additional fee of 15 EUR per night. Prior reservation is required and the parking within the hotel’s premises is offered upon availability.

· Just opposite the hotel there is free street parking available to all guests of the hotel.

Do you offer half board or full board?
We don’t offer either half board or full board.
Do you offer food and beverages during the day?
Sure. We do offer reasonably priced snacks from 12.00 and until 22.30 at the pool Bar.

Check-in / check-out

What time is the check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in time is at 15.00 and check-out at 11.00.
Can I check in earlier?

Please inform us in advance regarding your estimated time of arrival (ETA) by completing the online check-in form that you will receive a few days before your arrival date by email.

By informing us of your ETA in advance we have more chances of being able to check you in earlier than the standard check-in time.

Earliest check-in time is at 13.00 based on availability and there is no additional charge for that. Checking in earlier would incur a charge of 50% of the best available rate of the day.

Can I check out later?

Please inform us in advance in case of a late check-out in case you would like to have a late checkout. Late check-out until 13.00 is offered upon availability on a complimentary basis.

Late check-out from 13:00 and until 18:00 would incur a charge of 50% of the best available rate of the day.

Late check-out following 18.00 would incur a charge of 100% of the best available rate of the day.

RESERVATIONS, PAYMENT POLICIES & CANCELLATIONS

Do kids stay free?
Kids below 5 years old stay free of charge in existing bedding ( with parents or in a baby crib). Kids are charged only if occupying additional bedding.
Can I change my room type upon check-in?
Yes, but such requests are subject to room availability, applicable charges, and rate difference at the time of check-in.
Are guests allowed in the hotel room?
Guests are allowed to visit the room. However, for overnight stays beyond the capacity of each room, there will be an extra person surcharge.
What are the cancellation terms?
Please check the exact policy of the rate that you want to book. Different rates have different cancellation policies.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash payments, bank transfers, and as well as major credit and debit cards.
Do you accept PayPal?
Unfortunately, we don’t accept PayPal.
